Adams & Martin Group is assisting a nationwide product liability and personal injury law firm based in St. Louis in their search for a Paralegal to join their team.

Paralegals provide support to attorneys and assist with various legal tasks. They will be responsible for case management, ordering medical records, completing projects and ensuring the accuracy of the work produced. Ideal candidate will be a team player, detail oriented, self-motivated, have the willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties Include:

  • Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
  • Drafts legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
  • Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys.
  • Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 2 or more years of experience working as a paralegal managing cases in a high-volume personal injury firm required; trial experience preferred.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
